Eintracht Frankfurt defender Arthur Theate has been included in Belgium’s squad for this summer’s World Cup, the only Bundesliga-based player selected.

According to BuLi News, Rudi Garcia has named 26 players as Belgium aim to improve on their best finish of third in 2018. They will face Egypt, Iran and New Zealand in the group stage.

The 25-year-old was an unused substitute at the last World Cup, and featured three times as Belgium went out of the Euros in the round of 16.

Former Bundesliga names in Garcia’s squad include Thomas Meunier and Axel Witsel, Kevin de Bruyne, Amadou Onana and Dodi Lukebakio.

New Zealand have also released their squad, with former Bayern Munich youngster Sarpreet Singh set to wear the number 10 shirt. The Wellington Phoenix attacker previously had 2. Bundesliga spells with Nürnberg, Jahn Regensburg and Hansa Rostock.
