Sky Germany reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in West Ham striker Niclas Füllkrug, who is looking to leave England in the winter.
Frankfurt have entered the race for Füllkrug following the calf injury to Jonathan Burkardt, which could bring to an end his year, after picking up the injury in die Adler’s 3-0 loss to Atalanta in the Champions League.
Füllkrug’s agent has made it clear that he would like to leave Premier League strugglers West Ham in the winter, and a return to Germany is very likely. Wolfsburg and Augsburg have both been linked to the 32-year-old.
Frankfurt had also shown an interest in Füllkrug last summer, but instead, he moved to West Ham.
Newcastle striker William Osula has also been linked to die Adler in recent months after a move failed to materialise on deadline day.
The Danish striker who is on the periphery at Newcastle, has been valued at around €20m.
