Eliesse Ben Seghir won’t make Monaco return | OneFootball

Eliesse Ben Seghir (20) will not return to AS Monaco this month, according to a report from RMC Sport. 

Ben Seghir joined Bayer Leverkusen for a €32m fee at the start of the season, however, his adaptation to life in Germany has not been simple. He has only made 12 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions and he has yet to register his first goal contribution.

As a result, a return to his formative club had been on the cards. But RMC Sport now understands that Ben Seghir will not be returning to Monaco. Having already played for Les Monégasques at the start of the season, the Moroccan could not play for a third club, making Monaco the only feasible option if he were to depart the Bundesliga side this month.

Monaco, meanwhile, remain in the market for a forward before the closure of the January transfer window.
