Emily Lima has reached 10 official matches in charge of Corinthians’ women after a 6-0 win over Red Bull Bragantino in Rio Claro in the Campeonato Paulista. Her record stands at eight victories and two defeats, an 80% return.
Her debut came on 13 March in a Brasileiro derby, when Corinthians lost 3-2 to Palmeiras after a comeback.
The side then stitched together seven straight league wins, beating América-MG, Botafogo, Bragantino, Juventude, Ferroviária, Grêmio and São Paulo.
In between, the second defeat arrived in the Paulista opener. Fielding an entirely reserve side, Corinthians were again overturned by São Paulo, 2-1.
Including friendlies, Lima has overseen 12 matches. At the Teal Rising Cup in the United States, Corinthians lost the semi-final 2-1 to Kansas City Current, then thrashed Mexico’s América 8-0 for third place.
According to Meu Timao, Lima was hired to replace Lucas Piccinato on a two-season contract. Piccinato departed after three successive runners-up finishes, two against Palmeiras in the 2025 Paulista and the 2026 Supercopa, plus Arsenal in the Copa das Campeãs final.
Top of the Brasileiro, Corinthians face Cruzeiro on Monday 18 at 21:00 at Arena do Jacaré in Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, in round 11.
