Endrick has hinted he could look to leave Real Madrid as the forward looks to keep his World Cup dream alive.

The teenager signed for Real Madrid from Palmeiras in a €60m deal last summer but has struggled for first-team football.

He has scored six goals in 28 appearances across all competitions, but is yet to start a La Liga game. The Brazilian has been limited to just 109 league minutes across several late cameo appearances.

Endrick was linked with a loan exit in the January transfer window  – with several Premier League clubs reportedly interested in his services – and has admitted he will consider his options again in the summer. The 18-year-old has scored three goals in 13 caps for Brazil but is concerned about his place in the country’s plans ahead of next summer’s World Cup.

He was not included in the original squad for March’s international break, though was a late inclusion after Neymar withdrew through injury.

Speaking to Romario, Endrick revealed his fear at not being selected for the tournament, which will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico in 2026.

“To be honest, what goes through my head a lot is that I’m afraid of not being at the 2026 World Cup,” the teenager said.

“I’m worried… because it’s my dream to be at World Cup. It’s even difficult to speak about that. I want go help Brazil to win the sixth World Cup.”
