Endrick says Real Madrid team-mates Kylian Mbappé and Eduardo Camavinga urged him to choose Lyon, a move he is already enjoying.
"Kylian and Eduardo told me Ligue 1 was a good league and that it is very aggressive. They really advised me to join Lyon because it is a great team," Endrick said, speaking to Téléfoot.

He arrived in winter on loan from Real Madrid for the second half of the 2025-26 season, and Lyon are enjoying a strong campaign.
"I thank them for the good advice," he added.
The 19-year-old Brazilian international was seeking regular minutes before the 2026 World Cup and wanted a project where he could play and develop.
So far for OL he has five goals and one assist in six outings.
