Endrick speaks out on José Mourinho’s Real Madrid return | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Endrick has early this week provided his take on the club’s decision to reappoint former head coach José Mourinho.

And if the Brazilian’s comments are anything to go by, then he appears to be excited by the prospect of lining out under the watch of the iconic tactician.

Frontman Endrick is of course primed for a return to base in Spain’s capital this summer. Following a thoroughly productive half-season in France with Lyon, the 19-year-old will be afforded a fresh opportunity to prove his talents in Real Madrid white.

Endrick is for his part fresh off playing his part in Brazil booking their spot in the Last-16 of the World Cup on Monday, at the expense of Japan.

Speaking to the media in the game’s aftermath, the gifted young goalscorer was in turn drawn on his hopes for the season to come.

Specifically, when questioned on Mourinho’s appointment at the Bernabéu, Endrick explained:

“I am so happy! I’m enjoying this moment with Brazil and then I look forward to returning to Madrid.”
