Georgia Stanway has announced she will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with Arsenal among those believed to be keen on the Lionesses star.
Her contract expires in the summer, having joined the German club in 2022.
She moved to Bayern from Manchester City and has won three league titles in Germany. During her spell at Bayern, she has also won two European Championships with England.
Meanwhile, current Arsenal star Jenna Nighswonger has joined WSL rivals Aston Villa on loan.
“I’m really excited to just get started, meet everyone and playing some games,” the defender said.
“I’m excited to come here and gain some experience in the WSL.”
Gunners team-mate Jessie Gale has also headed out on loan, joining Bristol City.
She only signed her first professional contract with Arsenal this past summer and is making the loan move to gain experience.
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Anna Jøsendal from Hammarby.
The transfer was for an undisclosed fee, with the 24-year-old having spent two-and-a-half years with the Swedish club.
Upon signing for Liverpool, Josendal said: “It feels amazing to be here. This has been my dream since I was a little kid. Liverpool has always been my favourite team and my whole family supports them as well, so it is big for me.
“To play for this shirt is going to be so special, so I can’t wait to get started.”
The Norwegian international is Liverpool’s third signing of the window already, after Alice Bergstrom and Jennifer Falk.
Meanwhile, Hannah Blundell has gone on loan from Manchester United to Everton. Blundell is a four-time WSL champion and has joined United until the end of this season.
The 31-year-old has also won the FA Cup three times and is Everton’s first January signing. She spoke about how excited she is to play at Goodison Park.
“I am really excited. I can’t wait to get going. Goodison Park is fantastic. Every time I have played against Everton, you can hear the fans.
“They are always brilliant, I cannot wait to have them on my side and hopefully give them some excitement. Everton have got an amazing history.
“The first conversation I had with Brian [Sorensen] got me really excited to join the club. He is definitely one of the reasons I did. Both of our ambitions aligned.”
