On top of that, Riquelme intends to challenge Perez for two debates.

“Next Thursday, Enrique Riquelme plans to present the €187 million guarantee to the Professional Football League. It’s being done at the League because that’s the verification process,” the journalist stated.

“If they give him the go-ahead, he could announce it on Friday. The Electoral Board would have to communicate it. He’s going to request two debates.”

According to Gomez, one of the businessman’s biggest challenges is the limited timeframe available, considering that the candidates must present their candidacy by May 23.
