The Blues head into the game as underdogs, but they certainly have a chance of getting the job done, and Fernandez has explained what he believes the key is in finals.
‘The key, I think, is that in finals you play very focused,” he told Chelsea’s website.
“We know that we can’t give them space and we know that we can’t give them chances, because they have very good players.
‘Winning this Club World Cup would be very important for the club. Obviously, Chelsea have won it in the past, but a second wouldn’t be a bad thing!”
One of the main talking points of the Club World Cup has been the weather conditions, with games often played in extreme heat.
