Enzo Fernández shortlisted by PSG, facing competition from Manchester City and Real Madrid | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain are reported to have included Enzo Fernández (25) on their shortlist of potential signings for the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.

Real Madrid, but above all Manchester City – where Pep Guardiola’s successor, Enzo Maresca, has made him a priority target – are also among the clubs interested in signing the Argentine midfielder.

Under contract with Chelsea until 2032, Fernández comes off the back of a strong season with the west London club. Starting in 49 of the 54 matches he played this season, including several as captain, the San Martín-born player has once again proved himself to be one of the Blues’ key players, having also enjoyed the best statistical campaign of his career (15 goals, seven assists).

So many reasons why prising him away from Stamford Bridge is unlikely to be an easy task for his suitors, however prestigious they may be. And if one thing is certain, it is that Chelsea will not be giving them an easy ride.
