Enzo Maresca is set to be the next Manchester City manager after reportedly agreeing a three-year deal with the club.
There still has been no official confirmation from City over the reported departure of Pep Guardiola after 10 seasons but with several outlets now reporting the news it is seen only as a matter of time before the Citizens bid farewell to their most successful manager.
Former Leicester City and Chelsea boss Maresca is the man to have the unenviable task of continuing Guardiola's legacy and with his style of football making him a continuity candidate for the club, especially having worked at the club previously during the 2020/21 campaign.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Italian will sign a three-year contract with the club and is seen as the 'ideal' replacement.
In total, Maresca oversaw 92 games in charge during his stint at Stamford Bridge, winning the Conference League and last summer's Club World Cup.
