Erling Haaland acknowledged Leeds United chants at Wembley after the Carabao Cup final, replying "'til we die" as he collected his winners' medal.
According to Leeds Live, a fan shouted his first name then launched into "Leeds! Leeds! Leeds!" as Haaland walked down the steps. The striker looked up and pointed at the supporter filming.
Born in Leeds while his father, Alf-Inge, was playing for the Whites, Haaland has never hidden his affection for the club.
In a recent Sidemen video, he welcomed Simon Minter’s declaration of being a Leeds fan and queried Tobi Brown’s mention of United, asking if he meant Leeds rather than Manchester.
In December 2022, he scored twice on his first appearance against Leeds but chose not to celebrate. He has also won the Premier League twice with Manchester City.
