A mistranslated interview Lautaro Martinez had with France Football a few days ago has caused havoc among the Inter Milan faithful.
According to FCInter1908, the renowned French newspaper made a terrible mistake, which they later fixed to prevent further confusion.
France Football published a lengthy interview with Lautaro Martinez on Saturday, but failed to translate his words accordingly.
The Argentine’s stance on the controversial exit of former coach Simone Inzaghi was among the major talking points.
Indeed, the French publication quoted El Toro saying: “Our coach told us that he’d received an offer, and that he would be leaving.”
Therefore, Inter fans didn’t take it well.

However, that wasn’t what the 28-year-old really said.
On the contrary, Lautaro claimed he and his teammates had no knowledge of Inzaghi’s secret talks with Al-Hilal.
Indeed, the 49-year-old was engineering his transfer to the Saudi Pro League in secrecy.
What’s worse, negotiations took place in the build-up to the Champions League final.
Unfortunately, it backfired on Inter as Paris Saint-Germain swept them aside.
After being asked to correct their error, France Football released an accurate translation of Lautaro’s words.
“At that moment, the coach had not told us that he had received an offer and that he would be leaving,” Laautaro stated.
“We were unaware of those rumors, focused on all the objectives we had.”
