Fresh off the back of completing an excellent season in Como with the Italian Cup win, Juventus Women are already strengthening for next season. From today - Wednesday, 21 May - Estela Carbonell is Bianconera!
The 20-year-old Spanish full-back arrives from Levante, where she cut her teeth as a player and made over 70 appearances across all competitions. Estela has also been on a path of continuous growth at national level as well, most recently winning the Under-19 European Championship in 2023, beating Germany on penalties in the final.
Becoming Juventus Women’s first-ever Spanish player, Carbonell is set to embark on her first adventure away from her homeland, and she is already focused on the challenges that are to come with the Bianconere.
“I want to grow as a player, and to repay the faith the club have shown in me,” Carbonell said. “I want to grow as a person too, and I think this will be a good experience and opportunity to do just that away from home.”
Bienvenida, Estela! We can’t wait to see you on the pitch.
