Estonia vs. Italy official line-ups: 2026 World Cup qualifier | OneFootball

Italy set out a very attack-minded formation with Moise Kean, Mateo Retegui, Giacomo Raspadori and Riccardo Orsolini together against Estonia in this World Cup qualifier.

It kicks off at the Le Coq Arena in Tallinn at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

The Azzurri are playing catch-up in their group, as Norway swept Israel aside this evening, but have won both games so far under Gennaro Gattuso.

Those were 5-0 against Estonia and 5-4 with Israel last month.

The coach was forced into changes, losing Matteo Politano and Mattia Zaccagni to injury, so brings in a very attacking set of wingers in the form of Bologna’s Orsolini and Raspadori of Atletico Madrid.

On top of that, the full-backs are Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Inter star Federico Dimarco, so also eager to push forward.

This makes the line-up a 4-4-2, but closer to a 4-2-4 formation.

Italy’s next match will be hosting Israel in Udine on Tuesday evening.

Estonia have three points in this World Cup qualifying group, having won 3-2 away to Moldova back in March.

They lost the other four, but only fell 2-1 to Israel and 1-0 to Norway, before the 5-0 hammering at the hands of the Azzurri.

Henri Anier is suspended for this match.
