Leeds captain Ethan Ampadu addressed the run-in after the 1-0 Wembley defeat to Chelsea, with four league matches left.

"Of course. Our aim was to go as far as we can in the FA Cup, take it round by round," he told LUTV.

"Once you are here you want to get into the final. We didn't do that but we have got the Premier League and we want to survive and we have got full confidence that if we play like we have been in the last few weeks that we can achieve that."

The semi-final was Leeds’ first in the FA Cup for 39 years. They are 15th in the table, six points clear of the relegation zone.

Daniel Farke’s side host already-relegated Burnley on Friday night as they resume their bid to beat the drop.

"We have to now - we didn't give the fans a day to celebrate today so I think we should all get behind each other as we will and then push for these last four."
