But of late the likeable and talented defender has moved to centre half and excelled there too!

He talks of the switch in roles in his interview while also hailing defensive partner Ruben Dias and touching on the Blues making it to the FA Cup final, something we feature elsewhere in this latest edition.

As well as that clash with Crystal Palace, of course, we have four hugely important Premier League games starting tonight against Wolves.

Friday Night Football is referenced on the cover as we see the Etihad under the lights.

Elsewhere in this issue, we have match reports from our victories over Everton, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest as well as featuring a wonderful image of the manager from that Villans game in our Picture Perfect double spread.

The thoughts of club legend Dennis Tueart also feature in this edition as he discusses his dramatic debut and his work in the boardroom after hanging his boots up.

There’s also a lovely feature on our Under-18s team who have just claimed the Premier League North title!

We have the usual favourites like Pep Guardiola’s manager notes, Mike Summerbee’s Buzzer column and a focus on the visitors, Wolves.

We also bring you Six Degrees of Separation charting a course between stars of both teams and a tier list feature highlighting five legends from our visitors.

Matchday Live commentator Alistair Mann brings you his ‘Mann of the Match’ column, recalling a famous match against Wolves that featured a bizarre goal.

Dr Gary James takes a look at ‘One Moment in Time’ while Kevin Cummins selects another one of his favourite 100 photos.

There’s also a focus on what’s happening across our other teams.

Make sure you get your hands on the official matchday programme, which costs £4, because it really is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the big game.

As well as being available for purchase at the ground, supporters who may not be able to attend the game can also order it online.
