The Toffees announced the news via a post on their official club website this afternoon.
The 31-year-old moves to Merseyside after recently making her playing return following pregnancy. The player missed almost 18 months of competitive action due to the birth of her first child. Blundell made her first appearance since giving birth in Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in November.
Blundell needs regular football to get back up to speed and she will be hoping to make a positive contribution for loan club Everton.
After joining The Toffees, Blundell said “I am really excited. I can’t wait to get going and meet all the girls and our fans. The stadium is fantastic. Every time I have played against Everton, you can always hear the fans. They are always brilliant and I cannot wait to have them on my side and hopefully give them some excitement.
“Everton have got an amazing history – that is something I cannot wait to be a part of. I know some of the players which makes it a lot easier coming in. I am sure I am going to get along with all the girls – they seem like a great group and are fantastic players.
“The way the Club is going is something I am looking forward to being a part of. Playing at Goodison Park is fantastic.”
Blundell is Everton’s first signing of the January transfer window.
