Everton have been closely monitoring PSV Eindhoven winger Esmir Bajraktarevic, according to Bosnian outlet Sport Sport.

The Blues watched Bajraktarevic during the World Cup qualifiers where he helped Bosnia & Herzegovina qualify for the summer tournament.

Everton have also regularly scouted the ‘technically gifted and skillful‘ winger at club level, but they could face competition from Bournemouth.

While Bajraktarevic is currently valued at around €5 million, PSV could look to earn more if they decide to sell ‘the Milwaukee Messi‘ after the World Cup.

The right winger has bagged two goals and two assists in 25 Eredivisie appearances this term.

However, Everton have yet to make a final decision as the Bosnian has yet to force his way into the starting XI, starting just five games in 29 games.

He is also yet to establish himself as a starter for his country, but his potential is huge and his ability to hold onto the ball is impressive.

Bajraktarevic has what it takes to become a top player in Europe, and signing him now could make sense for the Toffees.

The former New England Revolution star is likely to be open to joining a club playing in Europe next term if he leaves PSV.

Everton could clinch a spot in one of the continental competitions if they finish the campaign on an impressive note.

They are currently eighth in the Premier League table heading into the final six games, and victory over Liverpool at home on Sunday would boost their chances of a top-five finish.
