Evertton Araújo has built a gym at home to maintain his fitness during Flamengo’s holidays, which end on Monday 12. Several team-mates have trained on beaches, streets and at Ninho do Urubu.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the midfielder is working with personal physiotherapist Thiago Fadel, who also supports Flamengo graduates Lucas Paquetá and Vini Jr, and works closely with Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães.

When he is not training in person, Evertton completes online sessions from wherever he is, including hotel stays during his break. He should report back in good condition on Monday 12.

He has also focused on mental work, including concentration and discipline. Last year the 22-year-old earned praise from head coach Filipe Luís, who highlighted the number 52’s daily dedication.

Inside Flamengo, Evertton is viewed as a reference point for academy prospects because of his disciplined profile. In 2025 he scored a brilliant goal against Fortaleza in the Brasileirão and made 36 appearances, although competition from Pulgar, Jorginho, Saúl and De La Cruz was fierce.

Grêmio have recently submitted an offer worth five million euros, R$ 32 million, for the midfielder. Flamengo have not advanced talks and are awaiting a higher proposal from the Porto Alegre club before opening negotiations.
