Álvaro Morata turned some heads earlier this summer when he made the decision to pack his bags and leave Spain right after captaining his country at Euro 2024.

The striker ended up in Italy, following a move to AC Milan, and many have been curious about how he might adapt to Serie A this time round following several stints in the league previously with Juventus.

The 31-year-old seems to have adapted very quickly to the style of play at his new club, as in his debut against Torino he got a goal in the space of 30 minutes.

As reported by Cadena SER, Italian media were quick to heap praise on Morata, with one outlet describing him as an ‘idol’ as his club also named him as the ‘MVP’ of the match on social media.

Whilst perhaps getting towards the end of his career when we look at strikers, Morata showed in his debut outing for Milan that there is plenty of life in him yet.

The Spaniard will now be looking ahead to next weekend when his side travels to Parma, hopeful of getting more minutes and keeping his good form alive.
