Former Orlando Pirates tactician Josef Zinnbauer watched as his JS Kabylie outfit slumped to a 2-1 loss against USM Alger in Monday's Algerian Ligue 1 clash.
Ahmed Khaldi broke the deadlock for USMA right on the stroke of halftime, but the Canaries hit back through their lethal frontman Aymen Mahious just after the hour mark.
Ex-TP Mazembe maestro Glody Likonza then bagged the winner for Abdelhak Benchikha's side in the 79th minute, securing all three points.
USMA leapfrogged to fourth place on the log with 18 points from 11 outings, while Zinnbauer's charges find themselves ninth, sitting on 15 points after 10 games.
Kabylie remain winless in their last two Ligue 1 fixtures and are now on a four-match winless streak in all competitions.
The German coach will now be gearing up his squad for a face-off against another former Pirates boss, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, who recently took the reins at ES Setif.
