A Champions League showdown with Portuguese heavyweights Benfica lies in wait, in Lisbon.

And, as alluded to above, despite previous suggestions to the contrary, Barca will lock horns with a former foe at The Estádio da Luz.

Ángel Di María was forced to sit out over the weekend, as Benfica made short work of Famalicão to the tune of a 4-0 triumph.

This came owing to a fresh injury problem for the veteran attacker.

As confirmed by Diario Sport’s Sergi Capdevila, amongst others, though, Di María has returned to fitness in time to play his part in Tuesday’s highly-anticipated Blaugrana clash.
