Ex-Wolves boss Nuno ‘to learn’ West Ham decision as former Molineux chief linked | OneFootball

The Guardian reports that some members of the West Ham hierarchy want Nuno to remain next season, and that a decision on his future will be made in the next couple of days.

West Ham were relegated despite a 3-0 win over Leeds. Tottenham secured survival with a 1-0 victory over Everton.

Nuno began the campaign with Nottingham Forest after leading them into Europe, and his season has ended in relegation and uncertainty. He had looked likely to be sacked once the drop was confirmed, with meetings reported on Monday.

His three-year deal is said to include a clause allowing the Hammers to dismiss him without paying compensation.

If he does depart, West Ham would be searching for a fifth manager in two years. Gary O’Neil, who led Strasbourg into the last four of the Europa Conference League, is among possible candidates, alongside former West Ham midfielder Scott Parker.
