It was reported by Football Insider that the Blues are among the sides eyeing a deal for the talented youngster.

However, they face competition from West Brom, who have recently appointed ex-Spurs coach Ryan Mason as their newest manager.

Chris Davies is looking to strengthen his side this summer as Birmingham look to compete at the top end of the Championship straight away after gaining promotion last season.

Hendrie believes that the signing of Moore would be a real coup for Birmingham, if they could get it over the line.

He has claimed the Blues have a lot of potential for next season, which could help convince the player to sign for them instead of reuniting with his former coach at Spurs.

“A big coup for them, definitely, on a loan deal, for sure,” Hendrie exclusively told Football League World.

“I think he’s got bags of potential, there’s no doubt about that.

“Clubs are linked with him, the problem is I think Birmingham have been linked with so many players, for obvious reasons, with the backing they have at the football club.

“And obviously trying to go again [for another promotion].

“But, yes, you do feel that they’re going to be a club that surely he’s got to be looking at, taking the opportunity to go and have a loan move there.

“Because I think that they’ve got lots of potential, but obviously the links and the potential have all got to knit together, really.

“So, I think that would certainly make his mind up.”

Birmingham earned promotion with a record points tally of 111 on their way to clinching the League One title under Davies.

Moore signing would have a lot of potential for Birmingham

Winning the race to Moore’s signature would be an exciting move for Birmingham given the potential he’s shown for Spurs.

The 17-year-old has already earned 12 appearances in the Premier League, as well as five in the Europa League, which is impressive for someone of his age.

But now is a good opportunity for him to go down to the Championship and earn regular minutes in order to develop his game.
