The Canaries, who are undergoing a resurgence under Philippe Clement recently, have been eyeing a new number nine ever since Josh Sargent's future at Carrow Road became uncertain, with the USA international eyeing a move back across the Atlantic Ocean to MLS franchise Toronto FC.

An €8 million (£6.9 million) bid was submitted by the Norfolk outfit to Norwegian champions Bodø/Glimt earlier this week, according to Fabrizio Romano, which came prior to his match-winning goal in the UEFA Champions League away at Atletico Madrid, but that could get hijacked now by another Championship outfit.

Scottish champions Celtic have also been lurking in regards to 25-year-old Høgh, but there is even more interest from EFL clubs in the striker's services, having scored 17 Eliteserien goals in 2025 for Bodø.

FLW exclusively understands that Ipswich Town - Norwich's bitter East Anglian rivals - are now in the mix for the signature of Høgh as they search for their own striker solution, having eyed up Sam Surridge of Nashville and Leeds United's Joel Piroe already this window.

Kieran McKenna is looking for extra fire-power to add to his current central striker options of George Hirst, Ivan Azon and Chuba Akpom, with Høgh now very much among his list of targets.

Also interested in Høgh is none other than Wrexham, with the ambitious North Wales outfit targeting a fourth consecutive promotion from the National League to the Premier League.

Phil Parkinson's side are currently well-positioned for a play-off push, but are looking for another body in attack to try and push them over the line.

Adam Armstrong, Sidiki Cherif and Sammie Szmodics are just a few of the names that have been linked with a move to the Racecourse Ground, but FLW has been told that Høgh is on Wrexham's radar too, as the Dane becomes an in-demand target for a number of clubs with just three days left of the mid-season window.

It remains to be seen as to whether Bodø/Glimt cash in on Høgh in the coming days, especially after they qualified for the Champions League play-off phase, where they will take on Italian superpower Inter Milan over two legs, for a spot in the last 16, but their resolve could be tested once more as a whole host of EFL clubs weigh up trying to splash out.
