Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman has given his thoughts on Peterborough United's season thus far.
The opening stages of the 2025/26 campaign have been far from ideal from a Peterborough United standpoint, as they still sit in the relegation zone of League One.
Posh have struggled to find form thus far, with the club sitting near the bottom of the third tier of English football after a slow start.

Darren Ferguson's side picked up the EFL Trophy earlier this year after a Wembley win against Birmingham City, after a relatively poor season by their standards. However, they have not been able to recover in the early stages of the current campaign.
There were encouraging signs over the weekend as Archie Collins earned Posh a 1-0 victory against Burton Albion, but there has been little consistency when it comes to their results so far in 2025-26.
Speaking exclusively to Football League World, Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman picked out Peterborough as the team he is most worried about when it comes to relegation from League One this season.
"As things stand, I would have to say my old mate Darren Ferguson's team, Peterborough," Goodman told FLW.
"Darren has done unbelievably, but when a club is in the business of always selling their best players, there comes a time when the club may become vulnerable."
Over the summer, Posh lost all three of their top goalscorers in Malik Mothersille, Kwame Poku and Ricky Jade-Jones, who made moves to Stockport, Queens Park Rangers and St. Pauli. In the process, Darren Ferguson lost a combined 35 goals, while Mothersille and Poku racked up nine and eight assists.

Goodman cited the lack of goals as a major issue for Posh this season, and a factor as to why they could struggle throughout 2025-26.
"I think the biggest issue with Peterborough this season is that they have always been a team that will concede plenty of goals, but have always been a team that scores more," Goodman added.
"Nine goals in 12 matches is the difference between what I would normally associate with Peterborough, and what I am seeing now.
"It's sad to see that they are struggling so far this season. Hopefully, they can turn that around."
Peterborough's well-documented model of buying talent to develop and sell at a profit has been at the heart of the club's success over the last decade.
Few clubs across the EFL have proved as effective at doing exactly this. However, this summer's departure list has had a huge impact.
Ferguson has been forced to rebuild a forward line almost from scratch, while centre-back Emmanuel Fernandez's move to Rangers further weakened the team's spine. The impact has been clear, with Posh scoring just nine times while conceding 20 at the other end.

The recruitment strategy itself remains unchanged, with the arrivals of Declan Frith, Kyrell Lisbie, Brandon Khela and Harry Leonard - all under the age of 23. Posh's continued faith in youth development is apparent, though the new additions have so far struggled to make an impact.
Peterborough now face a crucial run of fixtures, with confidence beginning to return after earning three points away against Burton. Ferguson will be eager to see his side use the much-needed momentum to climb out of the bottom four, but EFL expert Goodman is predicting somewhat of a struggle.
