Manchester City will host Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals, the standout tie of the round. According to NY Times, Leeds United are in the last eight for the first time since 2003.

Pep Guardiola’s side lifted the trophy in 2023 and were beaten in last year’s final, while Liverpool were winners in 2022.

Elsewhere, Chelsea will play Port Vale at Stamford Bridge, Arsenal travel to Southampton, and the winners of West Ham United’s fifth-round tie against Brentford will meet Leeds.

Port Vale, bottom of League One, are the lowest-ranked side left after upsetting Sunderland in the fifth round.

Southampton are the only other non top-flight team remaining, having eliminated Fulham in the fifth round.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for the weekend of April 4-5, with the semi-finals on the weekend of Saturday, April 25, and the final on Saturday, May 16.
