Leeds United could reach an FA Cup quarter-final for the first time in 23 years if they beat Norwich City at home next month, having edged past Birmingham City on penalties to reach the fifth round.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Bet365 make Daniel Farke’s side sixth favourite to lift the trophy among the final 17 remaining teams.

Victory over Norwich would leave Leeds one game from a Wembley semi-final. League survival remains the priority, but sustained form could allow more focus on the cup.

The odds set the wider picture too. Port Vale and Mansfield Town are both 500/1, Bristol City are 125/1, Norwich and Wrexham are 100/1, and Southampton are 66/1. Wrexham face Chelsea and Southampton play Fulham in the fifth round.

Leeds have rarely enjoyed long FA Cup runs or strong days at Wembley, but this squad have started to buck trends. A favourable tie next month keeps hope alive.
