Liverpool are in position to make a major signing. Fabrizio Romano shared the latest in one transfer pursuit.
Liverpool are on the brink of signing Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. The Dutchman has reportedly passed a medical with the Reds and will become their first summer signing.

But they’re not stopping there. Liverpool have grand plans for 2025, with sporting director Richard Hughes leading something of an overhaul.
The defence, midfield and attack could all change as Liverpool aim to capitalise on winning the Premier League title. Anfield is the place to be right now - time to show that off.
Florian Wirtz is one of those linked strongly with a move to the Reds. Though, it’s unclear whether that will be the German Reds or the English Reds.
Wirtz will almost certainly move to either Bayern or Liverpool if he chooses to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer. There will be an almighty push from both giants to get his signature.
But he’s not even the only one Liverpool hope to sign. They’re pushing for a £200m outlay before the window has even opened.
Liverpool want to upgrade at left-back, preferably with a long-term successor to Andy Robertson. Milos Kerkez is at the top of their shortlist and according to Fabrizio Romano, the player has told them ‘yes’.
“Liverpool are advancing, but careful until the end, because there are other clubs looking for left-backs in the market, and so we have to see what happens there,” Romano told the Market Madness podcast.
“What they can guarantee is that Kerkez would be very happy to join Liverpool. The message from the player’s camp to the club has already arrived. They are discussing personal terms."
