Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of last month’s Manchester derby has sparked questions about the winger’s future at Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mail, Garnacho is no longer considered “untouchable” at Old Trafford, with top European clubs like Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona keeping an eye on him.

While a transfer doesn’t appear imminent, Manchester United might entertain offers in the region of £70 million. However, clubs such as Atletico Madrid and Juventus could face difficulties meeting that price tag for now.

Journalist Steve Kay recently revealed that Tottenham has made a serious inquiry about Garnacho’s availability. Meanwhile, CaughtOffside reported that Atletico Madrid—his former club—along with PSG and Juventus, are closely monitoring the situation.

Although United might be open to selling if the right offer comes along, Atletico and Juventus may find it hard to meet the club’s valuation.

In a recent update for CaughtOffside’s Daily Briefing, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Chelsea’s interest in the Manchester United winger and added that Napoli are also keen.

“Keep an eye out as well on the situation of Alejandro Garnacho,” Romano said. “There is interest from Napoli, with Antonio Conte calling the player and pushing to have the Argentine, but it’s very expensive and it looks difficult for Napoli.

“Also, Chelsea are there – they made an enquiry last week, and this week they will have more contacts to understand the situation of Garnacho. So, Chelsea and Napoli are interested, but Man United are very clear – it has to be a very big proposal or the player will stay at the club in this January’s transfer window.”
