Christopher Nkunku’s future at Chelsea is facing increased scrutiny, with top European clubs reportedly circling.
According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, Nkunku could leave Stamford Bridge as soon as January as his representatives explore potential moves.
The 27-year-old forward, who joined Chelsea in 2023 for £52 million, has struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, prompting speculation over his future.
Reports suggest Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are among the clubs interested, adding further uncertainty to Nkunku’s status at Chelsea. The former RB Leipzig star’s lack of consistent playing time has raised questions about his long-term prospects with the club.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea are determined to keep the Frenchman at Stamford Bridge, with his departure only possible if he submits a transfer request.
“Let’s see also what happens with Nkunku,” Romano said. “He is always in the news, but Chelsea insists to keep the player at the club, Chelsea want to keep the player at the club. It could only change if Nkunku goes there and tells them ‘okay, I want to leave, I want to play more.’
“So, in that case, the situation could change, and Chelsea could consider to bring in one more offensive player. But at the moment, they are happy with the squad that they have.”
According to CaughtOffside, Barcelona may consider a loan move for French international Christopher Nkunku if they are unable to register Dani Olmo. Nkunku has found it difficult to break into Enzo Maresca’s plans this season, raising questions about his short-term future at Stamford Bridge.
A temporary move could provide the 25-year-old with an opportunity to regain form and secure regular playing time. The report also mentions that both Arsenal and PSG are keeping an eye on Nkunku’s situation as the transfer window opens.
