Falkirk host Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday, 9 May 2026 at the Falkirk Stadium, with fifth facing sixth in the Championship group and late-season positioning on the line.
Falkirk won the most recent meeting between the sides 4-1 at the Falkirk Stadium in January, after Hibernian had taken the December fixture 3-0. The September clash finished 2-2.
The Bairns come in with two wins from their past five league games, including a home victory over Motherwell last time out. The Hibees have one win in five and are on a run of three straight defeats, following reverses against Hearts and Celtic after a draw at Motherwell.
Hibs have scored 53 league goals and conceded 41, with 11 clean sheets. Their delivery from wide areas is a clear route, producing 514 open-play crosses at 20.43% accuracy and nine headed goals. The Bairns also cross frequently, posting 557 open-play deliveries at 20.11%. Calvin Miller leads the Premiership for assists with nine, while Barney Stewart has eight league goals. For the visitors, Jamie McGrath and Kieron Bowie both have eight league goals, with Martin Boyle on seven, and that mix could test the home defence.
A win would take The Bairns to 52 points and could lift them from sixth to fifth. Victory for Hibs would move them to 54 points and help them stay fifth in the Championship group, widening the gap to their hosts.
