Round 26 brought a mass fan clash in Rennes, Lens's record crossing spree in defeat, and Elye Wahi's audacious late lob for Nice.
Lorient beat Lens 2-1, Monaco saw off Brest 2-0, Lille won 2-1 at Rennes. Angers 0-2 Nice, and PSG's trip to Nantes was postponed.
Lens missed the chance to go top while PSG were inactive, and remain one point back. They attempted 58 crosses at Lorient, but few reached a teammate.
Monaco are resurgent, with goals from Folarin Balogun and Aleksandr Golovin. Sébastien Pocognoli's side have taken 20 points from 24 and are eight unbeaten.
Around 200 Rennes and Lille supporters clashed near the stadium on Saturday night, police used tear gas to disperse them. One person suffered head trauma, Le Parisien reported, and security was tightened.
Brought on after 65 minutes, Wahi later lobbed the keeper from near halfway at 90+6. Nice had gone six league games without a win, they now hold an eight-point cushion over Auxerre.
Lyon's Rémi Himbert sustained a severe ankle sprain in Thursday's 1-1 at Celta Vigo and is out for six to eight weeks. With Fofana, Moreira and Maitland-Niles also missing, they drew 0-0 at Le Havre.
My wife tells me I am made to be a coach, said Rennes midfielder Valentin Rongier to L'Equipe.
At 73, Vahid Halilhodzic has returned to Nantes to try to keep them up, saying he promises nothing except work and that the run-in is almost mission impossible after three years out post-Morocco.
