FC Barcelona announces official partnership with the DRC!

As part of its expansion into the African continent, FC Barcelona has signed a strategic agreement with the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), extending through the 2028-2029 season.

OFFICIAL: FC Barcelona partners with the DRC for four years

This partnership aims to promote culture, innovation, and tourism in the DRC, while supporting joint sports and development projects.According to the official statement from the Catalan club, the DRC will be recognized as the "official partner for empowerment in sport and culture" on the international stage.The slogan "DR Congo, Heart of Africa" will be featured on the back of the training kits of all FC Barcelona professional teams, shining a spotlight on the touristic image of the Democratic Republic of Congo.While the club has not disclosed financial details, Mundo Deportivo estimates the contract to be worth around 44 million euros.It’s worth noting that the DRC has recently signed similar partnerships with AS Monaco and AC Milan.
