FC Bayern Women set new attendance record! | OneFootball

What a figure! FC Bayern Women welcomed a crowd of 57,762 spectators to their match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen at Munich’s Allianz Arena. With that, the double winners set a new record in German women’s football.

The attendance smashed the previous Bundesliga high of 38,365 at the meeting between 1. FC Köln and Eintracht Frankfurt in April 2023. The German attendance record for a club encounter, previously held by Hamburger SV and SV Werder Bremen with 57,000 at their DFB Cup match, was also broken. What’s particularly remarkable is that FCB Women more than doubled their existing club record, set in the Champions League game against FC Barcelona in 2022 (24,000).
