FC Porto returned to work at CTFD Jorge Costa after a five-day break granted by Francesco Farioli, holding a joint session with the B team due to widespread absences for international duty and injuries across both squads.
According to O Jogo, first-team call-ups are Diogo Fernandes (Portugal under-20), Jan Bednarek, Jakub Kiwior and Oskar Pietuszewski (Poland), Zaidu (Nigeria), Pablo Rosario (Dominican Republic), Seko Fofana (Ivory Coast), Victor Froholdt (Denmark) and Deniz Gul (Türkiye).
From the medical bulletin, Diogo Costa and Rodrigo Mora are in treatment, Nehuén Pérez is in conditioned training, while Luuk de Jong and Samu are doing treatment and gym work.
In João Brandão’s group, Gonçalo Ribeiro and Gabriel Brás (Portugal under-21), Trafim Melnichenka (Belarus under-21), Dinis Rodrigues, Tiago Andrade and Gonçalo Sousa (Portugal under-20), Bernardo Lima and Mateus Mide (Portugal under-19), and Duarte Cunha (Portugal under-18) are with their national teams.
That shortage led to call-ups for junior Filipe Sousa and youth players João Brito and Tcherno Jamanca. Injuries currently rule out Martim Chelmik, Martim Cunha, Yoan Pereira, André Oliveira, André Miranda and Brayan Caicedo, with the club listing treatment, gym work or post-operative monitoring as applicable.
