FC Porto have confirmed the signing of Seko Fofana on loan from Rennes, announced on Monday, the final day of the Portuguese window.
The club said in a statement that they reached an agreement with Stade Rennais for a free loan valid until 30 June 2026, with no option to buy. It added there was no intermediary involvement.

The Ivory Coast international, 30, has made 12 appearances for Rennes this season, scoring once.
His career includes spells with Al Ettifaq and Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, as well as Lens, Udinese, Bastia and Fulham.
Fofana will wear the number 42 shirt in tribute to his idol Yaya Touré.
