According to O Jogo, Porto have finalised a contract renewal with João Teixeira, keeping the 20-year-old midfielder at the club until 2031 with a progressive €40 million release clause.
Teixeira has made 30 appearances for Porto’s B team this season, scoring two goals.

He has also been called into first-team training by Francesco Farioli.
The midfielder began his development at Diogo Cão before joining Porto in 2015/16.
He follows recent renewals at the club, including Tiago Silva, André Miranda and Bernardo Lima.
