FC Porto have written to the Portuguese Football Federation and the Liga de Clubes after the alleged racist incident involving Prestianni and Vinicius Jr during Benfica against Madrid in the Champions League, urging zero tolerance for such behaviour.
According to O Jogo, Porto asked both organisations to set out the preventive measures currently in place to address incidents of this nature.
The club also requested that the Liga represent the collective stance of the sports companies against racism.
Porto further called on the FPF to assist UEFA with its investigation, within its jurisdiction and capacity.
The approach is intended to help ensure episodes of this kind are not repeated.
