William Gomes has been handed a two-match suspension by the Disciplinary Council of the Portuguese Football Federation.
The punishment follows the straight red he received for a violent tackle on Casa Pia’s David Sousa, according to O Jogo.

FC Porto disagree with the decision.
The club will appeal.
The dismissal was the first sending-off of Gomes’s career.
