Federico Dimarco Amongst 4 Players To Return To Inter Milan Group Training Following Injury This Week | OneFootball

Inter Milan are anticipating a positive week during the international break, with wingback Federico Dimarco leading a group of players set to return from injury.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, Dimarco began partial group training at the Appiano Gentile training centre on Friday as he steps up his return to fitness.

The Italy international is expected to be joined by Nicola Zalewski after his withdrawal from Poland’s squad, with the January arrival from AS Roma suffering a minor knock.

Similarly, defender Stefan De Vrij is closing in on a return from a knee injury and will return to group training today, alongside Matteo Darmian.

However, Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez are due to undergo scans on Monday after being sent home from the Netherlands’ and Argentina’s set ups respectively.

Inter return to competitive action when they take on Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.
