Fenerbahçe face Beşiktaş in the Süper Lig on Sunday, 5 April 2026 at Şükrü Saracoğlu, with second hosting fourth and points crucial for the title race and European qualification.
Recent meetings have tilted towards the visitors. Beşiktaş won 2-1 here in the Türkiye Kupası in December 2025, before Fenerbahçe edged a 3-2 league win in November in İstanbul.
Kanarya arrive with three wins in their last five league games, including a 4-1 home victory over Gaziantep. Kara Kartal have momentum of their own, winning four of their past five and beating Kasımpaşa 2-1 last time out.
Kanarya are without Edson Álvarez, Nelson Semedo and Çağlar Söyüncü through injury. Kara Kartal list defender Emirhan Topçu and forward El Bilal Touré as injured. Those absences point to defensive reshuffles for the hosts and fewer centre-forward options for the visitors.
Kanarya average 2.3 goals per game, control 60% possession and complete passes at 86%, with Talisca on 13 league goals and Marco Asensio leading the assists chart with 12. Kara Kartal keep 55% of the ball and cross accurately at 22.51%, with Orkun Kökçü and Václav Černý key suppliers. The visitors' eight headed goals and strong aerial numbers suggest wide deliveries could trouble the hosts, while the home side's tempo and chance volume may test the away defence.
Kanarya sit on 60 points and a win would move them to 63, strengthening their Champions League qualification push and title bid. Kara Kartal are on 52. Victory would take them to 55, consolidating a European place and keeping pressure on the teams above.
