Hampton has won the FIFA Best women’s goalkeeper 2025 award, with Donnarumma picking up the men’s award. Both also won the Ballon d’Or equivalent awards in September.

The FIAF Best award for this year takes into consideration performances between August 11, 2024 to August 2, 2025, during which time Hampton won the domestic treble with Chelsea and saved two penalties in the final as England won Euro 2025 in July. She is also shortlisted for BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

Donnarumma last season lifted the Champions League for the first time in his career at the end of a campaign in which PSG won a domestic treble in France. He soon after left the French captain to join City in a £26million deal.

"It is a great honor to win this prestigious award and I would like to thank everyone who voted for me," Donnarumma said. "I feel extremely proud to have been named as the best in the world and ahead of such wonderful goalkeepers too, who I have great respect and admiration for.

"It was an incredible year, one that will live long in my memory, and it's touching to be recognised for my role in the success achieved over that period. I will truly appreciate this acknowledgment and look ahead now to achieving more success with my new club Manchester City."

Every award winner will be updated throughout the day...
