This is everything you need to know about this showdown at Atlanta Stadium.
After sailing through their group comfortably with a perfect record and just one goal conceded, Argentina didn't have as easy a time as many expected against the fairytale story of Cabo Verde in the Round of 32.
Twice the defending champions took the lead and twice they were pegged back in incredible fashion as the underdogs took them all the way to the final seconds of extra-time before exiting with their heads held high, ultimately being defeated 3-2 in a thriller.
Egypt also had a difficult time of it in the last round and needed a penalty shootout to finally see off Australia, who responded well after falling behind early.
Following a 1-1 draw, the game was decided by spot-kicks, where Egypt scored all four of their efforts, the highlight being a delightful Mohamed Salah chip down the middle.

Emam Ashour was the star man for the African outfit in the last round, registering a game-high Attacking Score of 8.47 in the FIFA Power Rankings - powered by Aramco, thanks to his early diving header which gave his side the lead.
They also had the top-ranked players in both other key categories too, with Haissem Hassan having the best Creativity Score with 7.78 and the tigerish Ramy Rabia earning a 7.21 Defending Score, although he also stepped up to score an ice-cool penalty in the shootout too.
Although much of Argentina’s attacking play usually revolves around their captain, it was actually defender Lisandro MartĂnez who had their highest Attacking Score (8.30) in the Cabo Verde classic, thanks to his glorious assist for Lionel Messi's opener and then scoring with a superb finish of his own.
Messi himself had his side's top Creativity Score 8.06 thanks to his continued influence on proceedings, while the highest Defending Score of all players in the Round of 32 meeting in Miami went to Facundo Medina with 6.79.
When Argentina win, they know how to party as the scenes at Miami Stadium following the Cabo Verde victory showed.
