Who is playing today? 👀

The Netherlands are on the cusp of an automatic Round of 32 qualification place after topping Group F courtesy of their 5-1 thrashing of Sweden last time out.

They will qualify for the knockout phase as Group F winners (and meet the Group C runners-up in the Round of 32 in Monterrey on 29 June) if:

  • They defeat Tunisia, and Japan fail to beat Sweden.
  • They defeat Tunisia, Japan beat Sweden, and Netherlands finish above Japan on overall goal difference, or, if that is equal, overall number of goals scored, or, if that is equal, Fair Play ranking.
  • If that is equal, Netherlands are ahead of Japan in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, so would finish above them.
  • They draw with Tunisia, Japan draw against Sweden, and Netherlands finish above Japan on overall goal difference, or, if that is equal, overall number of goals scored, or, if that is equal, Fair Play ranking.

Tunisia's World Cup™ campaign, meanwhile, is set to end at the first stage after suffering defeats in their opening two games against Sweden and Japan.

Another man who has impressed is Crysencio Summerville. The Netherlands forward got 7.9 for his Creativity Score in the thrashing of Sweden.

Tunisia's Hannibal Mejbri is a player who relishes playing on the edge and has caught the eye despite the defeats.
