Who is playing today? đź‘€

Both these sides drew their opening games, although the reaction to those points picked up was rather different.

In Uruguay, there was frustration at their performance overall against Saudi Arabia but also relief that they managed to rescue a share of the spoils when Maximiliano AraĂşjo thrashed in a late leveller.

However, their 27 attempts on goal does give cause for concern about being more clinical in front of goal.

By contrast, Cabo Verde's heroic, battling 0-0 draw with Spain will not only go down as their greatest ever result but also one of the most memorable upsets in World Cup™ history.

Not only did Araújo score Uruguay's crucial equaliser, his five chances created were the most by any player from his country in a World Cup™ game since Diego Forlán against Mexico in 2010. That performance earned him one of the top spots on the FIFA Power Rankings of this match after scoring an 8.8 in Attacking.

MathĂas Olivera was also a standout for Marcelo Bielsa's side at central defence and topped his side's charts for line-breaking passes (11), progressive carries (31) and duels (eight).

At the age of 40, Cabo Verde goalkeeper Vozinha saw himself become an overnight sensation when a string of impressive stops against Spain helped his side to victory - his seven saves were the most by any man in keeping a clean sheet versus La Roja for six years.

His fellow team mate, Sidny Lopes Cabral, led Cabo Verde’s Defensive Score of the FIFA Power Rankings with a 7.8.
