Filipe Luís appeared in Boavista colours during a friendly kickabout, even as he continues to be linked with the Monaco head coach role.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the former Flamengo coach was pictured on social media alongside Leo Macaé wearing a Boavista bib, and the influencer hailed him as a fine midfielder. The run-out, with Boavista from the Região dos Lagos in Rio de Janeiro, took place on Monday, the 1st, and was only a game among friends, so Luís remains unattached.

Since leaving Flamengo, he has attracted interest from several European clubs, with Monaco emerging in recent days as a leading contender to appoint him.

Monaco have dismissed Sébastien Pocognoli, clearing the path for Luís. The French club are prepared to pay €25,000 per match, around R$ 150,000, to have him on the touchline.

That cost arises because Luís does not yet hold a UEFA Pro Licence. He is currently certified only for teams under Conmebol.
