Bilal El Khannouss has left Leicester City permanently for VfB Stuttgart, the German club confirming the deal in a statement.
The Morocco international moved to Stuttgart on loan last summer after Leicester’s relegation to the Championship, with an obligation for the transfer to become permanent this year.
El Khannouss was influential in the season just finished, scoring eight goals and supplying six assists in 33 appearances across all competitions.
He spent one season with City, returning three goals and six assists in 36 games in 2024/25.
He is the first sale as Leicester begin reshaping their squad following relegation, with further departures expected in the coming weeks and months as they prepare for life in League One.
10 players departed at the end of their contracts over the weekend, including club captain Ricardo Pereira, Patson Daka, Jordan Ayew, Jamaal Lascelles and Wanya Marcel.
